To strengthen our procurement team in our office in Szczecin (Poland), we are looking for: Purchaser (m/f)

The area of responsibility includes:

• Purchasing of spare parts, consumables, etc. in coordination with our ship crews and our technical department
• Communicating with suppliers
• Obtaining quotations, carrying out price comparisons and price negotiations, placing orders, follow-up, and planning
• Ensuring timely delivery on board as well as organizing the corresponding transports
• Organising services for the vessels
• Support and assistance for the purchasing management
• Invoice handling and budget analyse
• Time-to-time communication with the crew onboard

To be expected:

• Professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a shipping company, but also gladly outside the sector
• Technical understanding and interest in a maritime working environment
• Excellent English language skills, German knowledge will be an advantage, but not mandatory
• Sound knowledge of standard IT software (Microsoft Office)
• Structured, independent working style and organizational skills
• Quick perception, enjoys communication, ability to work in a team
• Experience with ERP system would be a plus

A compensation package is provided for this permanent position that is commensurate with the responsibility of this position.
