Skills, knowledge, experience required:

• Minimum education level: Level 6;
• ICT-relevant degree is not mandatory;
• Minimum English language proficiency: C1 (CEFR);
• Minimum IT-related professional experience: 5 years;
• Minimum project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar position: 3 years;
• At least one certification from the following:
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) or equivalent
• Certified UML Professional certificate at Foundation level or BPM 2 Fundamental level or equivalent
• Another internationally recognized equivalent certification accepted by the Contracting Authority
• Has completed at least one full software solution lifecycle;
• Knowledge of business process modelling using BPMN notation;
• Knowledge of requirements and user story elicitation and analysis;
• Knowledge of analysis and modelling notations such as UML (capability diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, logical data models, etc.);
• Proficiency in modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar;
• Excellent analytical and communication skills;
• Ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Experience as a Business Analyst on a large-scale project (duration over 1 year and budget exceeding €1 million) involving the deployment of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system;
• Experience in analysing the following business processes:
• Logistics
• Warehouse Management
• Asset Management
• Fleet Management
• Financial Management
• Legal
• Human Resources (HR)
• Project Management
• Experience in business analysis involving Microsoft technologies:
• SharePoint 2019
• SharePoint Subscription Edition
• SharePoint Online
• Microsoft Power Automate
• Power Apps
• Dataverse
• Experience in business analysis involving the ServiceNow platform (custom applications and standard ServiceNow modules), including:
• Enterprise Asset Management
• Strategic Portfolio Management
• Customer Service Management
• Experience in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Duties/role:

• Modeling and documenting value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data;
• Eliciting and analyzing business needs, requirements, and user stories;
• Supporting business experts and product owners during requirements definition and software development;
• Maintaining and tracking requirements and user stories throughout the systems lifecycle;
• Transferring business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications;
• Mapping business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features;
• Analyzing available systems;
• Supporting the identification of potential solution options;
• Supporting the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies;
• Contributing to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management;
• Designing, validating, and testing business processes to achieve business process excellence;
• Taking a holistic approach to planning and managing continuous business process improvement programmes;
• Coaching Frontex staff on upcoming changes and ensuring plans are in place for developing new skills and implementing process changes;
• Collaborating with owners of end-to-end processes to continuously identify process improvement opportunities;
• Identifying opportunities for business process improvements that lead to improved customer service, lower costs, or higher revenue through effectiveness and efficiency gains;
• Communicating project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders to support rapid responses to business needs;
• Quantitatively analyzing business processes and performing cost-benefit and what-if analyses;
• Planning organizational change processes;
• Implementing performance monitoring systems for business processes;
• Supporting business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g., sector strategies and implementation plans);
• Supporting the definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures.
