Your role

As Strategy Associate, you will join the Chief of Staff team – a small, CEO-mandated strategy taskforce deployed against emnify's highest-priority strategic topics. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff, CEO, and

Leadership Team across a broad range of strategic, analytical, and execution challenges, moving between functions and topics as company priorities evolve. This is a role with real responsibility: you will own your workstreams, and you will be expected to take findings all the way through to action.

Your Impact

Solve high-priority strategic problems end-to-end: Structure the question, develop hypotheses, go deep into the data, and deliver a decision-ready recommendation to senior leadership.

Drive cross-functional initiatives forward without formal authority: Earning trust across teams and maintaining momentum until the outcome is achieved, not just until the deck is done.

Build rigorous financial, commercial, and operational analyses that connect raw data including unfamiliar IoT and telco metrics, to the business question that actually matters.

Own specific workstreams within larger transformation and special projects, coordinating stakeholders, tracking KPIs, and ensuring rigorous follow-through.

Develop clear, compelling communication for senior audiences: Turning complex, multi-variable analysis into a concise storyline that enables fast, well-informed decisions.

What we expect

• Prior experience in strategy consulting or another highly analytical environment is strongly preferred; backgrounds in investment banking, private equity, or high-growth tech strategy are also relevant where the core capabilities are clearly demonstrated.
• A track record of analytical depth and quantitative fluency: You are comfortable building financial models, interrogating large datasets, and moving from data to insight to implication, not just high-level frameworks.
• Structured strategic thinking: You can take an ambiguous problem, break it into clear hypotheses, and work systematically toward a coherent recommendation.
• Demonstrated ownership and execution drive: You follow through, you engage the people involved, and you stay close to implementation until the outcome is reached.
• Strong communication and presentation skills: You produce high-quality materials and are comfortable presenting to and being challenged by senior stakeholders.
• Learning agility: You get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar industries, technologies, and functions, and you find that interesting rather than uncomfortable.
