About the Position:
We are looking for a Plant MFE Welding Engineer to join the Manufacturing Green Technologies team, reporting directly to the MFE Manager.
This position is based at our office in Sosnowiec, Poland.
Your Responsibilities will be:
Analysis of new products in terms of welding technology
Supervision of ongoing welding process
Preparation and evaluation of technical documentation according to specified standards
Development of technological documentation
Supporting the development of employee competencies and welding processes
Selection of welding conditions and parameters for manufactured products
What Qualifications you will bring:
Higher technical education, ideally in welding engineering
Professional proficiency in English
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings
Expertise in technology development and welding methods (MIG, MAG, TIG)
Relevant welding certification (IWE/IWT/IWS)
Knowledge of new product launches and production technologies
Understanding of welding processes, pipe forming, and assembly
Minimum 3 years of experience on similar position
Other skills that we would welcome:
Strong teamwork, planning, and process monitoring abilities
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, accuracy, creativity, and independence
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO standards
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
