What Our Team Needs and What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Manager you will lead the fulfilment function to accomplish best in class performance and efficiency utilising systems to the maximum and building a team of self-sufficient and highly competent supervisors. You will also own and develop the delivery side of the business understanding and improving the metrics around delivery performance and cost effectiveness.
Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of a warehouse or logistics function, ensuring products are received, stored and distributed efficiently, safely and cost-effectively. This role leads operational teams, manages resources, monitors performance, resolves complex operational issues and drives continuous improvement to achieve business objectives and high levels of customer service.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the daily operation of warehouse and logistics activities
- Planning and coordinating inbound, storage, inventory and outbound distribution processes
- Managing operational performance against agreed KPIs, budgets and service levels
- Ensuring inventory accuracy through effective stock control and audit processes
- Developing efficient warehouse workflows and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Analysing operational data to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies and regulatory requirements
- Developing operational procedures and ensure consistent implementation across the team
- Managing relationships with transport providers, suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting business projects including warehouse expansions, system implementations and process improvements
- Investigating operational issues and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Contributing to departmental planning and resource allocation
Our New Team Member Will Possess
- Significant experience managing warehouse or logistics operations
- A strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management and distribution processes
- A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety legislation
- Analytical and numerical capability
- Technical expertise
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Problem solving and decision making skills
- Clear, effective and confident communicator
- Fluency in English
- Commercial mindset
- A positive and proactive approach
- Ability to build relationships

Move Dance Will Offer
- Fixed term contract with plan to be permanent
- Monthly salary of €4500 -€4700
- Monthly efficiency bonus
- 33 annual leave days
- 8% holiday allowance
