Your Impact
As a Principal Consultant, OpenText Professional Services (Energy& Engineering), you will lead the design and delivery of Engineering Information Management (EIM) solutions that help some of the world's largest industrial organizations manage critical engineering information across complex enterprise environments.Our clients engineer, build, and operate power plants, chemical plants, oil rigs, refineries, ships, grids, and pipelines. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping them maximize the value of OpenText technologies through successful implementation, integration, and adoption of EIM solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of OpenText ECM and EIM solutions, including planning, design, installation, configuration, migration, and integration.
- Design scalable, high-performing system architectures that meet client requirements and long-term business objectives.
- Configure and manage cloud-based proof-of-concept environments to support workshops, demonstrations, and validation activities.
- Design and implement integrations with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams, as well as engineering applications including CAD, CAE, GIS, and Primavera.
- Partner with clients, Professional Services teams, Product Management, and R to deliver exceptional outcomes and influence product enhancements.
- Drive innovation by contributing best practices, methodologies, and service offerings that strengthen OpenText's Professional Services organization.
- Collaborate within a global, cross-functional team operating in a flexible, hybrid work environment.

What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 6 years of experience in enterprise software planning, implementation, and rollout projects.
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting Engineering Capital Projects, Plant Documentation, or Management of Change initiatives in roles such as Document Controller, Project Manager, or Engineering Project Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Content Server, OpenText Extended ECM for Engineering, OpenText Content Management for SAP, or comparable enterprise content management platforms.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, enterprise integration, and information management best practices.
- Ability to build credibility with technical and business stakeholders and act as a trusted client advisor.
- Experience working within global and cross-functional project teams.
- OpenText certifications, including Content Server certifications, are considered an asset.
