For The Velvet Vixen Cocktail Bar and Steak Club Leidse, located in the heart of Amsterdam, we are looking for an experienced and independently working sushi chef.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in either regular employment or working with us as a freelancer. Working days, hours and other conditions will be discussed together.

What will you do?

– Independently prepare and present high-quality sushi
– Monitor quality, freshness and hygiene
– Contribute ideas for our sushi menu and presentation
– Maintain a clean, organised and efficient workspace

What are we looking for?

– Demonstrable experience as a sushi chef
– Ability to work independently and accurately
– A strong eye for quality, flavour and presentation
– A flexible and reliable attitude
– Knowledge of and compliance with HACCP guidelines
