We are looking for a dedicated Sushi Kok to join our culinary team. As a Sushi Kok, you will be responsible for preparing and serving authentic sushi and sashimi, ensuring each piece meets our quality standards. You will assist with menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Your role will involve working closely with the kitchen team to deliver beautifully crafted dishes that delight our guests.
Key duties include:
- Preparing sushi rice, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients with precision.
- Crafting sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other Japanese specialties.
- Ensuring proper food handling and storage in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assisting in menu development by suggesting new ideas based on current trends.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the sushi station.
- Supporting the team during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Following all health and safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment.
