is looking for a
QA/software tester
We are looking for an experienced QA/software tester to join our dynamic international team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background as a tester in game development and will be testing our built software from A-Z, organizing tests and making bug reports, analysing and communicating the results to the development team, and ensuring every fixed bug is a step forward in the game to run smoothly.
We are StickyLock - a passionate international studio creating innovative digital experiences. Established to develop and publish unique cutting-edge experiences that evolve around the ever-growing and evolving entertainment industry.
Our offices are in the Netherlands and Spain. Currently we are developing a realistic simulated golf game.
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or equivalent relevant years of work experience (3+ years) ) in game quality assurance,
- Solid knowledge of the Unreal 5 Engine, and bug tracking tools like Jira and Mantis,
- Deep understanding of the game development lifecycle,
- Experienced in testing on PC, a plus if experienced for consoles and mobile devices,
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills,
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative (remote) team environment,
- Strong written and verbal communication in English,
- Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills,
- Remaining flexible/adaptive in continuously changing situations.

Duties
- Find, isolate and log bugs and maintain bug reports in our tracking database,
- Create and run detailed test cases and test plans,
- Test gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and new features,
- Verify fixes from programmers,
- Write clear bug reports with steps to reproduce issues.
