Join us in shaping the future of AI innovation with Microsoft Azure!We are looking for a passionate and customer-obsessed Solutions Engineer (Cloud & AI) to join our Digital Natives team in North Europe. In this role, you will engage with some of the most innovative and disruptive start-ups and scale-ups, serving as their end-to-end technical leader and helping them unlock the full potential of Azure across every solution area (from Agentic AI and Application Development to Data & Analytics, Developer Productivity, Infrastructure, and Security).
As the trusted technical advisor to founders and CTOs, you will own and lead the technical strategy from first architecture conversation through production scale. You will set the technical vision, drive solution envisioning, prove out designs hands-on, and remove the technical blockers that stand between a great idea and a scaled, AI-native platform. You will orchestrate Cloud Solution Architects, partners, and Microsoft engineering teams around a single technical plan, connecting deep architectural credibility with business outcomes to generate and accelerate consumption.

Responsibilities Own the End-to-End Technical Strategy: Serve as the single technical leader for your accounts, setting the architectural vision and roadmap across all Azure solution areas (Agentic & Applied AI, App Innovation, Data & Analytics, Developer Productivity, Infrastructure/Migration, and Security. Own the technical relationship from initial design through production and scale).
Lead CTO-Level Relationships: Build and lead trusted relationships with founders, CTOs, and senior technical leaders. Influence platform decisions, earn architectural authority, and become the go-to Microsoft technical voice for each customer.
Drive Technical Envisioning & Design: Lead deep technical discovery, whiteboard target-state architectures, and translate customer priorities into secure, scalable, AI-powered designs on Azure. Map technical direction to business outcomes and differentiation.
Prove the Solution Hands-On: Design and deliver compelling demos, architecture workshops, and proof-of-value engagements. Get hands-on with the customer's stack to validate designs, unblock adoption, and demonstrate Azure's capabilities across the full portfolio.
Orchestrate the Technical Team: Lead and align Cloud Solution Architects, Solution Specialists, partners, and Microsoft engineering around one coherent technical plan. Marshal the right expertise to land complex, multi-workload solutions.
Accelerate Adoption, Consumption & Growth: Own the technical execution that drives production deployment, consumption growth, and expansion. Ensure customers realize durable value from their Azure investments and remove technical barriers to scale.
Technical Pipeline Leadership: Qualify opportunities on technical merit, shape solution plays such as "Innovate with Azure AI Apps and Agents," "Win Software Developers with GitHub," and "Unify your Data Platform," and use AI-assisted insights to prioritize the highest-impact technical engagements.
Continuous Learning & Enablement: Stay at the leading edge of Azure innovation, the AI landscape, and the competitive field. Share architectural best practices and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, learning, and collaboration.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND/OR solid technical pre-sales, solution engineering, cloud architecture, or hands-on engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to lead technical strategy end to end for cloud and AI platforms, with the architectural depth to earn credibility with CTOs and senior technical decision-makers.
Breadth across multiple Azure solution areas (AI, app development, data, developer productivity, infrastructure, and security) with the ability to go deep where it counts.
Solution Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Denmark is kr 726,700.00 - kr 1,320,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
