Bello Gio's by the River is looking for a strong and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
Set along the waterfront in Amsterdam, Bello Gio's by the River brings contemporary Italian flavours to a relaxed and welcoming setting. We work with fresh ingredients, quality products and a menu that combines Italian classics with a modern touch.
We’re looking for a confident Chef de Partie who knows their section, takes responsibility and can keep standards high when service gets busy. You’ll work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to keep the kitchen organised, efficient and running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Take full responsibility for your section during service
- Prepare and present high-quality Italian dishes consistently
- Ensure your mise en place is organised and ready for service
- Keep your section clean, efficient and well stocked
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and kitchen team
- Support and guide more junior members of the team when needed
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
- Follow HACCP, hygiene and food safety procedures
- Stay calm, focused and hands-on during busy services
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, ideally in a busy Italian kitchen
- Strong knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine
- Confident managing your own section with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of kitchen organisation, prep and service
- A reliable, hands-on attitude and strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a genuine team mentality
- Experience working in the Netherlands is preferred
- English is required; Dutch is a plus
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
