Data Center Operation Engineer

About the Opportunity

We are building a talent pipeline for upcoming opportunities supporting data center operations and AI infrastructure projects in the Netherlands.

We are looking for professionals with experience in IT operations, data center operations, server hardware, network support, critical facilities, or related technical environments. Successful candidates may be considered for relevant positions as project scope and hiring needs develop.

Responsibilities Depending on the specific role and project requirements, responsibilities may include:

* Support the daily operation and maintenance of data center systems and infrastructure

* Monitor systems and handle alerts to ensure stable and reliable operations

* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, system, and infrastructure issues

* Provide technical support for servers, GPU servers, and related equipment

* Support network and infrastructure maintenance

* Coordinate operational activities and technical support across multiple data center sites

* Respond to incidents and support continuous operations

* Maintain operational documentation, records, and reports

* Support process improvement and operational standardization

Requirements Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred:

* IT operations, system operations, or cloud operations

* Data center operations or critical facility operations

* Server hardware support or GPU server support

* Network support and Linux system administration

* Hardware, system, or infrastructure troubleshooting

* Experience with DCS, BMS, EMS, or similar monitoring and control systems is a plus

* Relevant professional or project experience in data center, IT infrastructure, or other technical environments

* Educational background is flexible; relevant practical experience is highly valued

* Fluent Mandarin Chinese, as Chinese will be used for daily work communication

* Working proficiency in English

* Dutch language skills are an advantage

* Valid authorization to work in the Netherlands

Work Environment

The role requires on-site work at data center locations in the Netherlands. Depending on project requirements, multi-site support and occasional travel between data center locations may be required.
