Your Mission as Security Systems Engineer:
- Design and implement – together with suppliers and industrial partners – the end-to-end security architecture for reconnaissance satellite constellations.
- Protect both in-space orbital assets and on-ground control infrastructure.
- Handle facility security clearances and compliance regulations.
- Assess vulnerabilities across hardware, software, and communication links.
- Ensure compliance with the Customer’s requirements
- Work in close cooperation with the engineering teams to implement secure command and telemetry protocols. WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Degree in aerospace engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of encryption, secure networking, and threat modeling.
- Experience with aerospace systems security or satellite communications.
- Familiarity with government or defense facility security clearance standards and accreditation processes.
- 5+ years of hands-on security experience (or engineering experience in a related role). Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping technical projects from start to finish.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to share ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical team members. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support peers, join code reviews, and share knowledge.
