Working directly with senior leaders, including the General Management Board, you'll identify, assess, and help execute acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships that support our ambitious growth strategy. From developing the global M&A pipeline and evaluating new opportunities to influencing deal structures and integration plans, you'll be at the heart of DHL Supply Chain's most strategic investments.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced M&A, corporate development, strategy consulting, investment banking, or private equity professional to work across regions, products, and functions, partnering with senior stakeholders around the world to deliver long-term value and growth.

Develop, refresh and obtain sign-off of the divisional inorganic strategy, including focus growth areas, AGSs or core services aligned with global and regional stakeholders

Provide input and steering / consulting to regions ensuring consistency with the inorganic strategy of the division

Schedule, prepare and run all M&A pipeline review calls and the M&A SteerCo; secure timely stakeholder alignments with the GMB, regions, or AGS leads as needed. M&A / JV Deal Execution & Project Support

Provide divisional business validation, assumptions and challenge to M&A I and M&A II proposals, covering strategic fit, commercial logic, operational feasibility, key business plan assumptions, and integration considerations.

Contribute divisional input on deal structure options, valuation assumptions, risk considerations, and regulatory implications

Ensure timely alignment of regional, product and functional stakeholders within the division Deal Pipeline Development

Contribute to the development of the deal pipeline by defining deal theses, target characteristics and business priorities

Provide strategic assessments and business perspectives on incoming opportunities sourced through various channels

Leverage market intelligence, divisional networks and sector insights to feed opportunities and leads into the divisional M&A pipeline What are we looking for from you?

Strong experience in M&A, Corporate Development, Strategy Consulting, Investment Banking or Private Equity, with at least one full-cycle transaction (origination through integration) led or co-led
Strong M&A process management (NDA CIM IOI/LOI DD SPA closing* integration)
- Solid command of valuation methodologies (DCF, trading and transaction multiples, LBO logic), financial modelling and due diligence work-streams.
- Familiarity with deal sourcing platforms (e.g. Sealk, Mergermarket, S&P Capital IQ) and the M&A advisor / boutique landscape in logistics.
- Strong project management skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to translate market trends into actionable deal theses.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and executive presence – able to influence GMB-level and Group-level stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- High personal integrity and ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Resilience and ability to manage parallel work-streams under tight deadlines.
