The Role & Your Impact
An attractive position is open in one of our most important strategic account teams for an ambitious and high-performing student. You will be part of a team responsible for one of our most important accounts. The team is directly responsible for the relationship with the client, the business growth strategy and its execution.
In Planetary Health Biosolutions, we work with our regional sales and technical teams to deliver value to our customers at high-level meetings, product launches and customer days. Moreover, we develop our innovation pipeline from idea generation and development of projects to the final stage where we launch new concepts to the market together with the client.
We are a project-based, fast-paced department, and the learning curve is steep from day one. As a (student) assistant, you will assist the team in a variety of tasks which could involve market analyses, sales data and material preparation as well as supporting the design and preparation of high-level customer meetings.
The average time commitment in the position is 15-20 hours per week split on two-three days. The workload will vary, and we expect mutual flexibility for you to solve tasks timely and at the same time attend exams.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
We are looking for someone who:
- Deliver and execute multi-year strategic plans aligned to the global strategy, to accomplish sales and profitability objectives across regions.
- Support the sales team to ensure all the enablers are in place for the successful execution of global launch plans in a Global Strategic Account.
- Support the Marketing and Sales Director in creating value-added propositions to effectively enable sales growth, increase profitability and enhance customer experience & loyalty.
- Master AI tools for data analysis as well as marketing content creation
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
The following qualifications are considered an advantage but are not required:
- International experience through studies abroad, internships, exchange programs, or extensive travel.
- Previous experience in marketing, strategy, business development, or commercial analysis.
- Interest in innovation, sustainability, biotechnology, or B2B business environments.
- Experience working with data analysis and business insights.
In this position you need to:
- Be studying at your final year of your bachelor's degree or at the beginning of your master within business (marketing, strategy or innovation) or a related field in engineering (biotechnology or design and innovation)
- Be a high-performing and ambitious individual thriving with challenges
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a data-driven approach
- Be a quick and proactive learner with good communication skills required to successfully engage with a broad range of stakeholders
- Be a good team player who is also able to work independently, taking responsibility for key deliverables
- Have excellent skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Be fluent in both oral and written English
- Ideally have international experience, e.g. from studies abroad or travels
