The Product Manager (f/m/d) – Portfolio Positioning for Protection Relays translates portfolio strategy and product innovations into clear customer value, differentiated positioning, and compelling narratives for successful market adoption. This role acts as a key interface between Product Management and Marketing, aligning product direction, market priorities, and customer needs to ensure a consistent and differentiated market presence.

You'll make an impact by
- Translating the SIPROTEC and Reyrolle portfolio strategy into clear customer value propositions, differentiated positioning, and messaging foundations that drive portfolio growth and market success.
- Serving as the primary interface between Product Management and Marketing, ensuring alignment between portfolio strategy, commercialization priorities, and market-facing positioning.
- Taking responsibility for the successful market introduction of new products and portfolio innovations by defining customer value propositions, differentiation strategies, commercialization approaches, and launch readiness requirements.
- Leading the portfolio positioning workstream within cross-functional go-to-market initiatives and driving alignment across Product Management, Market Development, Marketing, and Sales organizations.
- Owning and continuously evolving portfolio narratives, customer-value propositions, and competitive positioning based on market insights, customer feedback, and input from Sales, Market Development, and Technical Application teams.
- Providing strategic recommendations for portfolio positioning and commercialization decisions to support business growth, market differentiation, and long-term portfolio success.
You excel in
- You hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable educational background.
- Several years of experience supporting portfolio commercialization, portfolio positioning, product launches, and value proposition development in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Portfolio Positioning, Market Development, Business Development, technical-commercial strategy, or related commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of electrical protection equipment, automation, power systems, substations, or related customer applications.
- Proven ability to translate technical product capabilities into compelling customer value propositions, differentiation strategies, and commercial messaging.
- Experience leading cross-functional collaboration between Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering.
- Very good command of English (business and negotiation level). Additional language skills are a plus. German language skills are advantageous.
