Network Support Technician Level 2

Role Summary

The Network Support Technician Level 2 is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting network systems to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain network hardware and software to support reliable operations.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to safeguard data integrity.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with network security protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a network administrator role — demonstrated ability to manage and troubleshoot complex network systems.
• Hands-on experience in networking — practical expertise in configuring and maintaining network devices.
• CCNA — certification validating knowledge of networking fundamentals and Cisco technologies.
• BSc degree in Computer Science — foundational education in computer systems and networking principles.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery software — proficiency in implementing and managing data protection solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with firewalls — ability to configure and manage firewall systems for enhanced security.
• Knowledge of server infrastructure management — understanding of server architecture and maintenance practices.
• Ability to set up and configure server hardware — hands-on experience with physical server installations and configurations.
• Great organizational and multitasking skills — adept at managing multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Associate's degree in electronics — additional technical background in electronic systems.
