Lisbon, Portugal Employee In an environment where operational excellence underpins exceptional experiences, we are looking for a Business Application Specialist who goes beyond traditional support at Amorim Luxury Group.
This role is key in ensuring that our business applications operate seamlessly, enabling high-performance operations across multiple domains. You will act as a trusted partner to the business, bridging technology and operations, and contributing to the continuous elevation of our systems, processes, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide application support across multiple business systems, ensuring reliability and performance
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents with efficiency and attention to detail
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, translating needs into effective solutions
- Support and participate in system implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners/vendors
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and system accuracy
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices
- Identify opportunities to optimize systems and enhance user experience
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and continuous improvement
Profile
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in application support roles
- Proven experience supporting multiple business applications
- Experience in complex, multi-system environments (retail, hospitality, or similar sectors is a plus)
Functional Knowledge
- Accounting and finance processes
- Billing and customer management
- Supplier management and accounts payable
- Logistics and warehouse management
Technical Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably Cegid Primavera)
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL is a plus)
- Experience with system integrations (APIs, ETL) is valued
