Product Manager - Mobile Apps (Fitness)

About the job

We are currently looking for a Product Manager to join the team developing a new mobile product for a U.S. client in the fitness industry. The project focuses on solutions for Android and iOS devices, including tablets.

‍ In this role, you’ll work closely with both the development team and client stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can clearly understand business needs, translate them into specific requirements, and ensure a shared understanding of the product vision.

You:

Experience and Skills

‍

• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in a software development services environment
• Proven experience working with international clients; clients from the U.S. are preferred
• Proficiency in Scrum methodology and Agile practices
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in gathering requirements, creating user stories, and managing the backlog

Communication and Language

‍

• Advanced knowledge of English (minimum C1 level), both spoken and written
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong skills in writing documentation and specifications

Understanding of technology

‍

• Good knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
• Experience with mobile apps (Android and iOS) We will also appreciate:

Product Strategy and Requirements Management

‍

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements from stakeholders in the U.S.
• Translating business needs into clear and actionable technical requirements and user stories
• Collaborating with designers to create wireframes and ensuring they align with business objectives
• Proposing new features and improvements based on a deep understanding of the client’s business context
• Maintaining the product backlog to maximize business value
• Co-creating a high-level roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders from the U.S. and the Project Manager

Collaborating with the team

‍

• Supporting the development team in clarifying requirements and acceptance criteria
• Serving as a local subject matter expert, helping the team understand the product vision and requirements
• Participating in, and occasionally leading, Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives
• Working closely with developers, QA, and the designer

Collaboration with the client

‍

• Building and maintaining good relationships with stakeholders in the U.S.
• Regularly conducting meetings to gather requirements and present the product
• Participating in strategic discussions regarding the direction of product development
