Senior Product Manager - EcoStruxure IT Advisor
Schneider Electric · Kolding, Denmark
You apply off-site, with the employer or the job board. I never handle applications.
Job Description:
Are you looking to join a global market-leading company that is shaping the future of Energy Management and Automation?
Schneider Electric is at the forefront of driving innovative and sustainable technologies across homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industries. We believe in the power of great people and are committed to driving innovation, diversity, and sustainability. Globally we are more than 150,000 in 100+ countries.
About the role Data centers are being rebuilt around AI. Racks that drew 10–15 kW are now pushing past 100 kW, air cooling is giving way to direct-to-chip and immersion liquid cooling, and the boundary between the physical facility and its digital twin is disappearing. Planning and operating this new class of high-density, AI-factory infrastructure is one of the hardest problems in the industry today — and it is exactly this problem the EcoStruxure IT Advisor Platform exists to solve.
IT Advisor is Schneider Electric's DCIM planning and modeling platform: capacity planning, asset lifecycle, power-chain and thermal modeling, change management, and 3D visualization of the data center. It is the tool operators use to answer "what fits, what powers it, what cools it, and what happens if we change it" before a single rack is deployed.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own IT Advisor's next chapter: evolving it from a classic DCIM planning tool into the modeling and decision layer for AI-era data centers — high-density compute, liquid cooling, and deep alignment with modern platforms like NVIDIA Omniverse (digital twin and simulation) and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) (agentic, AI-native integration). This is a strategic, high-visibility role at a genuine inflection point for the product.
What you'll be doing:
- Own the vision and roadmap for EcoStruxure IT Advisor — from strategy through prioritization, delivery, and outcomes.
- Lead the evolution into the AI-server space: model high-density compute, liquid cooling (direct-to-chip and immersion), and the new power and thermal realities of AI factories, so customers can plan and de-risk these deployments with confidence.
- Define the integration strategy with adjacent modern platforms — including digital-twin and simulation environments (e.g., NVIDIA Omniverse) and AI-native, agentic interfaces (e.g., MCP) — turning IT Advisor into an open, interoperable part of the customer's toolchain.
- Run continuous customer discovery with colocation providers, enterprise operators, hyperscalers, and the teams designing and running AI infrastructure — and translate what you learn into a clear, defensible roadmap.
- Partner closely with engineering, UX, and architecture to ship, balancing near-term customer needs against the longer-term platform bets.
- Drive go-to-market with product marketing, sales, and pre-sales: positioning, messaging, pricing input, enablement, and launch.
- Own the competitive and market picture in DCIM and the emerging AI data center management category, and use it to sharpen differentiation.
- Define and track the metrics that matter — adoption, retention, and the business outcomes the roadmap is meant to move.
What will help you succeed:
Required
- 5+ years in software product management, with a track record of owning a technical or platform product end to end (this is a senior, experienced-hire role).
- Domain knowledge of the data center / critical infrastructure space — ideally DCIM, but strong candidates may come from adjacent areas such as data center design, capacity planning, or infrastructure software.
- A working understanding of power and cooling, and specifically the shift toward liquid cooling and high-density / AI compute. You don't need to be a thermal engineer, but you should be fluent in the problems operators face.
- Experience with platform and integration-led products — APIs, data models, and building products that interoperate with a broader ecosystem rather than standing alone.
- Strong discovery and prioritization instincts, and the ability to say no with a clear rationale.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder skills — you can align engineers, executives, and customers around a shared direction.
Preferred
- Direct experience with DCIM, digital twins, or simulation / modeling software.
- Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse or comparable 3D / digital-twin platforms.
- Exposure to MCP, agentic AI, or LLM-based integrations in a product context.
- A background in electrical or mechanical / thermal engineering, or hands-on data center operations.
- Experience selling to or building for hyperscalers, colocation providers, or AI-factory operators.
