Operations Decision Support Suite (OPSD)
OPSD is a holistic platform designed to support operational controllers in managing complex aviation environments and making proactive, data-driven decisions.The solution integrates data from multiple operational domains, including:
- Airports
- Air Traffic Control
- Weather services
- Aircraft operations
- Crew management
The platform helps transform operational steering from reactive actions into proactive, data-driven decision-making.
OPS Data Delivery Team (OPS DDT)
OPS DDT is responsible for an enterprise data warehouse environment that collects, processes and delivers data across the Lufthansa Group, covering the following areas: Lufthansa Group fleet, aircraft maintenance, flight operations, passenger transportation, baggage transportation

Why do we need you?
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data products and data streaming.
- Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, integration and delivery processes.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for data exchange and consumption.
- Gather, clarify and refine technical and business requirements.
- Analyze complex data scenarios and implement solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with data providers, business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
- Contribute to CI/CD, deployment automation and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
- Support production environments and resolve technical issues, with operational support accounting for approximately 10–15% of your time.
- Work in an Agile international environment, using tools such as Jira.
Who are you?
Your profile:
- Has solid experience in Data Engineering, with strong hands-on skills in Python and Azure or GCP.
- Has experience with Azure Data Factory, Unity Catalog, Databricks, PySpark and building scalable data pipelines.
- Has a good understanding of data ingestion, transformation, storage, delivery and integration across different systems.
- Has experience with API development, preferably using Python, and working with data exchange services.
- Is familiar with CI/CD, version control and automated deployments.
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills and can effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Is comfortable working in Linux and Windows environments and in an international Agile team.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written (B2/C1).
- Readiness to work in a hybrid model - 2 days in the office in Gdańsk.

- Senior position 10 000 - 21 000 zł gross (contract of employment)
