Keysight is looking for a Business Development Outreach Associate to join our high-growth Device Security (KDS) team in Delft. This is a 1-year internship program—structured as an official university-approved internship—designed for ambitious students who want to master AI-driven lead generation, sales development, and EMEA market strategy in cybersecurity.
The Opportunity
You'll own the lead generation and webinar follow-up funnel for our Device Security certification services across EMEA. Working directly with Account Managers, Technical Experts, and Marketing teams, you'll identify high-intent prospects, execute outreach campaigns, analyze pipeline metrics, and help scale our fastest-growing business unit.

Responsibilities:
- Lead Webinar Follow-Up Campaigns – Execute targeted nurture campaigns for prospects generated through KDS webinars, events, and marketing initiatives. Qualify leads, prepare customer materials, and drive engagement through the early sales funnel.
- Capture & Qualify High-Intent Leads – Use AI tools, market research, and intelligence platforms to identify prospects matching our ideal customer profile. Prepare account profiles and prioritize prospect lists for Account Managers.
- Conduct Strategic Account-Based Outreach – Execute multi-touch campaigns (email, LinkedIn, calls) to targeted European enterprises. Track response rates, iterate on messaging, and report engagement metrics to optimize conversion.
- Analyze Pipeline Performance – Monitor deal velocity, conversion rates, and sales cycle length. Identify trends, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities. Share weekly insights with the BD and Sales leadership.
- Support Market Research & Competitive Positioning – Research EU cybersecurity landscape, customer pain points, and competitor positioning. Feed insights back to Marketing and Sales to strengthen positioning.
- Contribute to Marketing Initiatives – Assist in launching campaigns, webinars, and industry events. Own lead logistics, list management, and post-event follow-up.
- Master Sales Tools & Processes – Develop proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, and related platforms. Ensure data accuracy and document workflows to scale team processes.
Qualifications: Required
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a BS/MS in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
- Strong quantitative skills – comfortable working with data, dashboards, spreadsheets, and metrics. Ability to extract insights from market research and customer feedback
- Excellent communication – fluent in English, clear writer, confident presenter, natural ability to build rapport with diverse audiences
- Proficiency with AI & modern sales tech – basic familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, etc.), ability to learn CRM platforms quickly, comfort with LinkedIn for research and outreach
- Organization & ownership – meticulous attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple projects, proactive about identifying gaps and solving problems
Highly Desirable
- Technical knowledge – familiarity with hardware security, embedded systems, IoT, or device-level testing
- Regulatory awareness – basic understanding of cybersecurity standards (ISO 27001, Common Criteria) and certification frameworks
- Sales & marketing experience – exposure to B2B sales, lead qualification, account profiling, or campaign execution
- Tools & platforms – experience with ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, or similar sales research tools; comfort with presentation software
