We're now building a small engineering team for development in a new office in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a Junior Technical Product Engineer to join us on a full-time basis. You'll be part of the development team and be the bridge between customers, support, and development. Handling real technical issues and turning what you learn into product improvements. You will help both with current VEKTA iterations and with new product development.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Technical support:

• Analyze support tickets, identify technical issues, and propose solutions
• Communicate directly with customers to clarify issues and follow up on resolutions
• Escalate hardware and firmware issues to the development team and track them to closure

Product quality analysis:

• Investigate current VEKTA product issues through support tickets, customer surveys, reviews, customer interviews, feedback: fit, comfort, microphone, compatibility, etc.
• Keep track in a structured and categorized log to evaluate and find patterns of the issues and solutions.
• Coordinate with the development team to escalate, propose solutions, and resolve issues.

Documentation:

• Create guides for customers, gather specs, improve materials in support portal.
• Check and rewrite the support documentation to match the products in detail.
• Maintain and update product documentation, specs, and development logs.

Development of new products:

• Test prototypes, propose improvements, and develop new concepts.
• Coordinate product development with freelancers, the factory, and external partners.
• Potential direct work in CAD, electronics, software, etc.

YOUR PROFILE

You’ll need:

• Degree in engineering (electronics, mechanical, computer science, or similar)
• Strong written English. You'll write to customers and produce documentation daily.
• Attention to detail. You record findings accurately, verify assumptions, and dig into issues analytically.
• Ability to work independently. We're a small team, you set your own priorities.

Nice to have:

• Maker mindset. You build things and enjoy figuring out how they work.
• Familiarity with USB audio, consumer electronics, or wearable hardware.
• Gamer. You'll understand our customers instantly.
