The Team
Our BVI office supports clients experiencing financial distress. Given our global scale, we are able to seamlessly deliver cross-border Restructuring & Insolvency mandates, with the BVI team working closely alongside practitioners in our London, Cayman Islands and Hong Kong offices on restructuring and insolvency cases with entities registered in BVI. Our growing team has developed an exceptional reputation for high quality work.
How you will cont****ribute
- As part of a highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to work on high profile engagements across restructuring advisory and insolvency working with many of the industry’s leading Senior/Managing Directors
- You will gain broad industry exposure and benefit from established formal training in addition to ‘on the job’ learning and development
- You will be given the opportunity to use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills while performing company-side advisory projects, accelerated sale processes, IBRs, short term cash flow and contingency planning assignments
- You will be encouraged to internally and externally network, both with our other service lines and with the wider business community.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will gain exposure to a broad range of assignments across the insolvency and restructuring spectrum, providing an excellent opportunity to develop both technical and commercial expertise.
In addition to client delivery, you will also support business development initiatives, including identifying potential clients requiring advisory support, contributing to the preparation of client pitches, and assisting in the development of proposals to secure new mandates.
Qualifications
An internationally recognised professional qualification in accounting or finance, supported by a strong academic record.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a professional services environment is essential, with a preference for candidates from audit, restructuring & insolvency, or turnaround banking backgrounds. Candidates must demonstrate a solid grounding in financial analysis, accounting principles, and exposure to complex engagements.
Applicants should demonstrate a clear desire to build on existing technical skills and develop broader knowledge across restructuring and advisory services. Candidates should be able to evidence strong financial analysis, experience assessing financial performance, identifying key risks, and working with complex financial information in a professional services or advisory context.
Practical experience in one or more of the following areas will be highly advantageous:
- Company-side advisory and stakeholder engagement
- Accelerated sale or distressed M&A processes
- Independent Business Reviews (IBRs)
- Short-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Capital structure and financial analysis
- Exposure to insolvency procedures or contingency planning
