(Sr.) Professional Job Netherlands, Utrecht Technology Netherlands As a Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer you’ll be at the heart of building, managing, and evolving the cloud environments that power our hosted applications for our customers. At Exact Cloud Services, we operate across both Azure and our private cloud, supporting critical operations and driving forward-looking projects. With infrastructure increasingly shifting toward software, automation is key—and you’ll help lead that charge. We're currently transitioning to Azure, and your expertise will be essential in optimizing and maintaining this journey.

As a Cloud and Infrastructure engineer at Exact Cloud Services—a proud part of the Exact Group—you’ll work within the Cloud Platform Department to ensure the stability, performance, scalability, and security of our hosting platforms. These platforms support around 400 customers using Exact products in a hosted environment.

You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled engineers who understand the business inside and out. You’ll learn from them, and they’ll learn from you. Your technical expertise, analytical mindset, and ability to prioritize will be key to your success. You’re customer-focused, solution-driven, and always looking for ways to grow. You’re proactive, professional, and not afraid to think beyond conventional boundaries.

This = what you bring

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in a professional, service-oriented IT environment.
• Microsoft Platform Engineering (Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Infrastructure as Code and automation (Bicep, Azure DSC, PowerShell)
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Microsoft security solutions (Microsoft Defender, Ivanti Security Controls, Tenable)
• Azure platform services including networking, storage, databases and security
• Hybrid infrastructure and endpoint management

Personal qualities:

• Takes initiative in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues independently.
• Proactively brings team members together and mobilizes support when necessary.
