TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Project Manager SCADA at our office Rijnpoort in Arnhem (2 or 3 days) and hybrid working is possible. Who will contribute to this, that might be you?

Your profile and background

As a Projectmanager SCADA:* You hold an academic degree (Bachelor/Master) in Engineering / Industrial Engineering or a technical field of study with engineering / science background.

  • You hold a valid project management certification, such as PMP / PRINCE2 / IPMA C or relevant certificates.

  • You have several years of proven professional work experience as a project manager or program manager of complex infrastructure projects and ideally have a track record in the HV electrical industry or offshore industry.

  • You show very good communication and stakeholder management skills and are able to cope with conflicting interests between Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, IT and external contractors.

  • You feel comfortable to work in VUCA environments.

  • You are experienced in one or more technical areas such as high voltage secondary systems, GIS switchgear and Siprotec protection devices, high voltage SCADA, Auxiliary SCADA , Process Control Systems such as Honeywell Experion, Hitachi and/or Siemens SCADA systems.

  • You have a strong understanding of various mechanical and process systems (Transformers, Switchgear, HVA/C, Foam and Gas Fire Fighting, PAGA, CCTV, Fresh water, Hazardous Drain, LV, DG, UPS).

  • You have experience with network architectures as Purdue model, IT and OT infrastructure, Cybersecurity best practices in OT environments according to standards (IEC 62443 / ISO 27001).

  • As our projects and teams are managed internationally, you should be fluent in English and preferably have good proficiency in Dutch.

  • You show willingness to travel in Europe a few times per year (when necessary). Your suitability for offshore work, having GWO certificate is a plus. What makes You Successful?

Your contribution to TenneT

About the role? As a Projectmanager SCADA, you will lead the delivery of critical SCADA and Operational Technology (OT) projects that support the reliable and secure operation of TenneT's electricity transmission network. Working across Operations, Engineering, Asset Management, Cybersecurity and external partners, you will manage the full project lifecycle of system upgrades, lifecycle replacements, infrastructure expansions and digitalization initiatives for the offshore assets. Combining strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of SCADA and OT environments, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget while contributing to the resilience, security and future readiness of TenneT's grid and supporting the energy transition. Key Responsibilities

  • Furthermore, you will lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary project team while managing interfaces to our internal and external stakeholders, in particular the close cooperation with the execution grid connection teams and the involvement of the technical specialists.

  • To guarantee a successful project life-cycle, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with permits, regulations, specifications, project governance and contract content.

  • As a projectmanager, you will manage all project related topics such as scope, resources, planning, costs, risks, quality, communication, HSE, documentation, invoicing, etc.

  • You are responsible for providing all the necessary project management documentation and actively manage risks and opportunities.

  • You manage the full project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, testing (FAT, SAT, ...) commissioning, through handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with the European and TenneT standards.

  • As part of our continuous improvement, you will also work on enhancing our project governance as well as being the mentor for junior project managers.

This will be our challenge

Offshore is responsible for the development, construction, and management of the offshore electricity grid. With the North Sea as the green engine of the energy transition, Offshore plays a clear and vital role within TenneT’s organisational structure.

The Offshore division manages the entire lifecycle of all TenneT offshore installations, from development and realisation to maintenance and handover to the Operate division. A crucial task is the construction of 2 GW offshore ‘sockets’, which collect and transport generated wind energy to the mainland.

We offer you:* A salary in scale 9: €4,816 to €9,472 per month (based on a 40-hour work week), excluding 8% holiday allowance, 6% year-end bonus and a flex bonus. Job grading is based on education, experience, knowledge and internal equity.

  • A solid pension through ABP, with 70% of the premium paid by us.
  • 43 vacation days per year
  • Hybrid working, including an internet allowance of €32.50 and a home-office allowance.
  • Mobility: commuting allowance of €0,23 p/km nett and/or NS Business Card and business travel allowance of €0,44 p/km gross when using your own verhicle for work-related travel.
