As a Business Controller (f/m/d) within the TI CP Business Controlling team, you serve as a trusted advisor to the Compression Service Region Europe & Africa, supporting a business spanning more than 35 countries. Working closely with regional leadership, finance teams, and operational stakeholders, you provide transparency on financial performance, drive forecasting and budgeting processes, and enable data-driven decision-making across a dynamic and diverse business environment.
Beyond core business controlling, you contribute to key strategic initiatives, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), sustainability reporting, central function controlling, and high-impact transformation projects. By combining financial expertise with business acumen and cross-functional collaboration, you help drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation across the region. How You’ll Make an Impact* Acting as the primary Finance Business Partner for the Compression Service Europe & Africa management team, providing financial transparency and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Leading regional forecasting, budgeting, financial performance reviews, and financial planning & analysis activities across a network of more than 35 countries while identifying risks and opportunities
- Strengthening the Enterprise Risk Management framework and partnering with sustainability teams to support ESG initiatives, including EU Taxonomy reporting and compliance requirements
- Providing financial governance and controlling support for central functions, ensuring cost transparency, effective resource allocation, and sound financial governance
- Leading and supporting strategic projects and transformation initiatives, delivering financial insights, business case analyses, and value-creating recommendations
- Promoting process harmonization, digitalization, and automation to improve reporting quality, operational efficiency, and decision-making capabilities What You Bring* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is considered an advantage
- Proven experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), business partnering, or finance leadership within an international environment
- Strong expertise in forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, variance analysis, performance management, and financial governance, ideally complemented by knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, ESG, or sustainability reporting
- Proven analytical and strategic capabilities with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations and influence management decisions
- Hands-on experience with SAP, financial planning systems, business intelligence tools, and Microsoft Office, combined with excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills in multicultural organizations
- Fluent English skills; additional language skills are considered an advantage About the Team
