A Snapshot of Your Day
The Treasury Project Manager is part of the Treasury Technology & Systems (TRE T&S) team and supports cross-functional programs and Treasury transformation initiatives where Treasury expertise is required. This is a limited position for an initial period of two years. The role coordinates Treasury requirements, testing activities and stakeholder alignment across SAP S/4HANA and other transformation initiatives, ensuring Treasury requirements are properly assessed, tested and implemented.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Act as Treasury SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the global SAP S/4HANA implementation program.
- Represent Treasury interests, requirements and controls throughout the SAP S/4HANA program and other Treasury-impacted transformation initiatives.
- Coordinate Treasury project activities and requirements with business, IT, implementation partners and other stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between Treasury objectives, project requirements and implementation activities.
- Identify and manage Treasury-related risks, dependencies, decisions and open topics.
- Distinguish between Treasury, Accounting and IT ownership and ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement.
- Support project planning, delivery, governance and status reporting.
- Lead Treasury requirements and delivery activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation program and other cross-functional initiatives.
- Act as the primary Treasury representative during solution design, implementation, testing and rollout phases.
- Ensure Treasury requirements & controls are appropriately reflected in solution design, implementation, testing and rollout activities.
- Coordinate Treasury stakeholders, implementation partners and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess the impact of project, process and system changes on Treasury processes, systems and controls.
- Support Treasury business sign-off and rollout readiness activities.
- Coordinate Treasury testing activities across FIT, UAT and End-to-End testing phases.
- Support definition of Treasury test scope, business validation scenarios and sign-off criteria.
- Ensure Treasury requirements, controls and processes are adequately tested and validated.
- Coordinate Treasury participation in defect resolution and issue management activities.
- Support Treasury go-live readiness and sign-off activities.
What You Bring
- Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA payment process implementation, including payment proposal creation, payment methods, bank determination, bank account master data, payment file generation and related system configuration.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end payment processes, including bank account management, payment proposal creation, payment execution, payment file generation, bank connectivity and related Treasury controls.
- Experience with integration between SAP S/4HANA, Treasury Management Systems and payment platforms (e.g., Finavigate, FIS Quantum, FIS TRAX) is strong advantage
- Experience coordinating or managing cross-functional initiatives involving Treasury, Finance & Accounting, IT teams and software vendors.
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies, testing phases and validation activities, including FIT, UAT and End-to-End testing.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA payment processes, related SAP configuration, payment file generation, bank connectivity, bank account management and associated master data concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems and payment platforms such as Finavigate, FIS Quantum and FIS TRAX is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of integration points and data flows between SAP S/4HANA, Treasury systems, payment platforms and banking partners.
- Understanding of bank connectivity, banking master data, payment file formats and EBS processing.
- Ability to assess process, system and data dependencies and evaluate their impact on Treasury processes, controls and payment execution.
