Join our Global Sales and Operations Planning team in Amsterdam and play a key role in ensuring successful product launches and well-managed end-of-life transitions across our portfolio of brands.
Your Mission
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) is a monthly business process that aligns demand, supply and financial plans to support strategic decision-making and execution for the Group brands.
As our S&OP Planner - New Product Introductions (NPI), you will drive the operational planning and coordination of new product launches and end-of-life transitions. Working across Product Management, Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations and Finance, you will ensure that assumptions, timelines, demand, supply and inventory plans are aligned and ready for execution.
Together with the New Production Introductions Lead (whom you will report into and back-up when needed), you’ll also independently manage selected NPI and End—of-Life (EOL) projects.
What you'll do
- Support the preparation and execution of new product launch plans, milestones and timelines.
- Coordinate demand, supply and inventory planning activities for NPI projects.
- Drive timely and accurate master data readiness, including lifecycle, pricing, channels and planning parameters.
- Maintain initial and updated demand forecasts based on commercial input.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Production Planning to create and maintain feasible supply plans.
- Develop launch scenarios, identify risks and coordinate mitigation actions.
- Monitor inventory ramp-up, readiness and deviations during launch execution.
- Support end-of-life projects, including ramp-down analysis, inventory exposure and mitigation planning.
- Create (with support if needed) and maintain NPI and EOL dashboards, milestone tracking and management updates.
- Lead selected NPI or EOL projects of limited scope or complexity.
- Capture lessons learned and identify opportunities to improve processes, tools and collaboration. Who you are

Requirements:

Completed BSc or MSc Education in Supply Chain, Economics, Business Administration or similar relevant discipline

Available 32 hours per week

3–5 years' experience in demand or supply planning, S&OP, retail merchandising and / or trading, inventory management

Hands‑on experience with ERP and APS systems

Strong analytical, data‑driven and execution skills; data / business analysis skills as big pro

Ability to digest complex matters and structure information received from various sources / teams in relevant insights and actions for the business
