Help shape the next generations of ECCO Outdoor footwear by turning category direction into technically strong, scalable products that perform season after season.

Drive product development across seasons and stakeholders

As Product Line Manager in our Outdoor category, you will join the Category Management department in Tønder, Denmark on a 12-month maternity cover contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role at ECCO. You will become part of a close-knit team where collaboration, curiosity, proactiveness, and a shared passion for great products define the atmosphere.

This is a role with a strong project management focus. Working closely with Category Management, Design, Global Development & Engineering, and Production, you will ensure that product concepts are translated into clear technical requirements and developed into commercially relevant collections. While the AW27 collection will be close to completion when you join, you will quickly take ownership of concrete deliverables supporting the SS28 collection and the start-up of AW28. From day one, there will be hands-on coordination, administration and stakeholder management responsibilities, with increasing ownership as you settle into the role.

More specifically, you will:

  • Drive product briefs, development milestones and collection readiness across key product gates.
  • Manage product data, costing information and development activities in PLM systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with Design, Global Development & Engineering, Production and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
  • Monitor product architecture, technical requirements and collection consistency across product families.
  • Support cost management, risk mitigation and decision-making through structured data analysis and reporting.

Use your technical understanding and structured approach

This role will suit someone who enjoys combining technical product knowledge, data management and stakeholder coordination. You thrive in a dynamic environment where multiple collections, timelines and stakeholders move in parallel, and you are skilled at keeping projects on track without losing sight of the details. Comfortable navigating complexity, you turn information into clear actions and ensure a high level of accuracy throughout the product development process.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Product Development or similar
  • Bring experience from product development, product management, innovation or a similar role within footwear, apparel or consumer products.
  • Have strong project management skills and are confident coordinating multiple projects, collections and stakeholders simultaneously. Are confident working with product data, PLM systems and development processes, with a strong focus on detail and data accuracy.
  • Understand technical product requirements, materials, constructions and costing principles.
  • Communicate clearly in English and build productive relationships across functions and cultures.

Build expertise while influencing future collections

This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across the product creation process and contribute directly to future Outdoor collections. You will work alongside experienced colleagues in an international environment where knowledge sharing and collaboration are valued. As you grow into the role, you will have the opportunity to expand your ownership and make a lasting impact on how ECCO develops Outdoor products.

Ready to take the next step in product line management?

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we encourage you to apply even if your experience does not match every requirement listed above. We review applications on an ongoing basis, and the position is open until we find the right candidate.
