Security Analysis and Investigation Officer to Saab

Your role

The world is changing rapidly, new threats and security risks are emerging in all areas of our business. To be able to stay ahead, we need to adapt and be proactive in order to find solutions that enable us to do business securely.

We are now looking for a lead investigator and security analyst within Saab Surveillance.

As a lead investigator you will be the one prioritizing security incidents within Surveillance and coordinate security related investigations. Your role is also to be a part of the analysis producing actionable threat intelligence for our business and you must be an active part of developing and improving both functions.

In addition to this

You will be a vital contributor to the development of the security function at Surveillance as a whole. To take on this challenge, you should find it satisfying and challenging to build something new.

The main tasks are to:

• Conduct and coordinate security investigations
• Provide the organisation with actionable threat intelligence and recommend mitigating actions

More specifically:

• In-depth analysis of security threats and trends in combination with an strategic analysis of the geopolitical situation and markets relevant to Saab and Surveillance
• Conduct trainings and briefings at all levels within Surveillance and partners/customers
• Work at different time frames, i.e. both long term and short term analysis will be required
• Define and develop ways of working for security analysis and investigations as well as for the security function at large
• Develop, implement and maintain processes, methods and tools for security analysis and investigations
• Cooperate closely with the security analysis and investigation function within Saab Group as well as other relevant functions at Saab
• We are a global company, we work in an international context, which will require travelling

Your profile

We are looking to find an investigator and security analyst with documented experience of investigations and/or analytical skills, preferably within the defence-, law enforcement or civil security sector. You will be responsible for producing security analysis for Saab Surveillance and our businesses and also support the development of Saab Security as a whole. For this reason we look for a person who is comfortable with presenting analysis and advice to senior management and in an international context.

Required skills:

• Bachelor degree in political science, engineering, law or similar
• Minimum five years of relevant experience
• Documented analytical skills preferably within the defence- or civil security sector
• Experience in performing investigations
• Structured, service minded and curious as a person
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
• Excellent knowledge of todays threat landscape and an ability to forsee how it could affect our company/business and also to convert your knowledge to actionable targets for Saab Surveillance
• Trustworthy and high standards of ethics and personal integrity

• Business and commercial understanding
• Documented business development skills
• High self-awareness especially regarding your personal strengths and weaknesses
• As we operate in a highly regulated environment, it is desirable that you have an interest in security requirements, both Swedish and international as well as standards, such as ISO 27001 and NIST SP 800
• You find it challenging and interesting to build something new
• You like to work independently but don’t hesitate to seek advice from collegaues
• Eager to learn and develop

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply

What you will be a part of

You will join a highly professional security function with personnel of different backgrounds and competences. We work mainly within the areas of physical security, information security and personnel security, including travel security. You will be developing the analysis and investigative work within Surveillance and you will also play a vital part in the development within the whole function. You will work closely with the Security teams all over Saab as well as other functions and you will report directly to Head of Security at Surveillance.

The position is based in Stockholm/Solna or Gothenburg.
