As Senior Legal Business Partner, you will join our Legal team in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, on a fixed-term maternity cover contract for 9 to 12 months. Reporting to the Director, Legal & Privacy, you will provide senior legal counsel to stakeholders across our global organisation, with a particular focus on supporting commercial and sales activities.
You will combine sound legal judgement with a strong commercial mindset, helping the business navigate complex matters and make informed decisions. You will also support the continued development of the legal function and help refine efficient ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day legal advice to our global sales organisation, including matters relating to selective distribution, channel development and service set-ups
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of complex commercial agreements, including lease arrangements.
- Translate legal requirements and risks into clear, practical and commercially viable
- Partner closely with colleagues in Sales, Finance, Operations and Legal to support strategic and operational priorities
- Drive legal operations initiatives, including contract lifecycle management
- Contribute to the continuous development of the commercial legal function, including the refinement of processes and ways of working
What you bring
You are a senior legal professional who combines robust legal expertise with business understanding and the confidence to advise on complex matters. You can engage effectively across organisational levels, balance competing priorities and take ownership of decisions in an international environment.
Moreover, you bring:
- Qualification as a lawyer, together with strong knowledge of European and international commercial law; knowledge of Danish law is preferred
- Significant legal experience, ideally 10 years or more, gained from a law firm, an in-house position or a combination of both
- Experience advising an international organisation, preferably within retail, consumer products or the luxury sector
- A strong track record in commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation
- The ability to provide clear, pragmatic guidance and independently manage complex legal matters
- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- A collaborative, flexible and growth-oriented approach, combined with sound judgement, initiative and a constructive sense of humour
