Senior Quality Assurance Manager - Discovery & Consideration (all genders)

Job Description

• Perform high-quality manual testing for theABOUT YOU Mobile App, covering the whole customer journey
• Collaborate closely with app engineers to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies
• Oversee the quality of the application and contribute to creating a strong user experience
• Take ownership of bug reports or tickets from internal and external stakeholders, prioritize them based on their business value, and ensure timely resolution
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of ABOUT YOU's long-term automated testing strategy
• Coordinate app release tasks and perform regression testing
• Act as an advocate for product quality within a cross-functional development team, promoting best practices and driving continuous improvement
• Coordinate testing efforts to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality features

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, and debugging of frontend applications, preferably mobile apps and large-scale projects
• Proficient in manual testing techniques, including exploratory and destructive testing, as well as automated testing
• Familiarity with process and ticketing tools such as Jira and Confluence, enabling effective collaboration and organisation
• Strong knowledge and experience with testing tools, particularly TestRail, for efficient test management and reporting
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical systems, allowing for efficient testing and debugging activities
• Detail-oriented approach to testing, with a strong focus on test case design as well as business value and user experience of software
• Passion for delivering innovative features quickly while maintaining high reliability standards
• Experience working with agile methodologies and implementing a quality mindset in an agile environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders
• Fluent in English, demonstrating proficiency in both speaking and writing
