Application Engineer – Silicon Photonics / Automated Test Equipment (m/f/d)

• Integration of V93000 Semiconductor Test systems and services into customer's environment
• Development, debug and optimization of SoC test solutions on V93000 ATE platform
• Development of required customer specific test SW and HW such as test methods, libraries, load boards and probe cards
• Consult customer test engineers during development, debug, correlation and ramp-up of customer products on V93000 based test solutions
• Delivery of customer trainings and workshops
• Support root cause analysis of test escapes, false failures, and yield issues
• Collaboration with sales team to identify and enable new business opportunities
• Implementation of benchmarks to promote benefits of V93000 ATE platform

Requirements:

• University Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• >3 years' experience in semiconductor test business
• Proven experience in SoC testing for HPC and/or HSIO ASICs and/or Silicon Photonics (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with Advantest V93000 / Smt8 (preferred) and/or similar tester platforms
• Solid programming experience with C/C++ or Java
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven experience to work in customer environment and customer facing attitude
• Ability and motivation to work in project teams in a global environment
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and to work under pressure
• Driver license and willing to travel
• Fluent English (mandatory) and German (preferred) language skills
