Lead S/4 HANA Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and tune SAP HANA native models, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, to enable backend processing and aggregations
• Build and operate efficient ETL pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from SAP and non-SAP sources, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define scalable data flows and data architectures that power analytics and operational reporting
• Develop end-to-end data workflows, enforce strong data quality, and resolve data discrepancies via monitoring and troubleshooting
• Enable business processes through custom analytics, KPI tracking, and actionable insights built on SAP HANA backend solutions
• Optimize performance for complex workflows and large datasets by leveraging SAP HANA in-memory database capabilities
• Coordinate with engineers, business analysts, and solution architects to capture requirements and deliver tailored, high-quality solutions
• Participate in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies such as sprint execution, planning, and retrospectives while delivering incremental value
• Document technical standards, best practices, and processes to support maintainable SAP HANA solutions and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Proven track record with 5+ years of experience in SAP HANA development or comparable roles within the SAP ecosystem
• Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA native modeling, including Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
• Solid background in designing and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, specifically in SAP environments like HANA
• Working knowledge of integrating SAP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy systems into data workflows
• Deep understanding of performance optimization, database tuning, and scalability strategies for large-scale datasets
• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills with a collaborative approach
• English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) level

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing or engineering domains, including quality assurance or supply chain analytics
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or similar modern SAP integration tools
