As a Medior Pega Developer, you’ll work in an agile environment on an in-house Pega application that supports the client’s Digital Transformation Strategy. The solution streamlines onboarding and due diligence through automation, case management, and intelligent workflow design. You’ll turn requirements into maintainable Pega functionality, contribute to solution discussions, and work closely with developers, analysts, architects, testers, and client stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Develop, configure, test, and maintain Pega components, case types, workflows, business rules, views, and reusable application assets.
- Translate functional and system requirements into clear technical designs and reliable, scalable Pega solutions.
- Review system designs and documentation, identify gaps, clarify technical logic, and propose practical improvements.
- Build and support integrations with REST APIs, enterprise data sources, data models, and external systems.
- Apply Pega guardrails, development standards, ruleset and versioning practices, and clean-code principles.
- Create unit and scenario tests, support code reviews, troubleshoot defects, and contribute to deployment and post-release stabilization.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and client teams, share knowledge, and support less-experienced colleagues where appropriate.

What we're looking for:
- Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or comparable professional experience.
- Experience: Approximately 3–5 years of hands-on Pega application development experience in an enterprise or client-facing environment.
- Certification: Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) is required; Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) is preferred or actively being pursued.
- Pega skills: Practical knowledge of case management, workflows, data pages and data transforms, routing, validations, UI configuration, rulesets, debugging, and reusable component design.
- Integration and delivery: Experience with REST services, JSON and XML, data modelling, version control, CI/CD or Pega Deployment Manager, automated testing, and agile delivery.
- Ways of working: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear communication, quality awareness, ownership, and confidence working with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Language: Professional English; Dutch is an advantage.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with recent Pega Platform versions, Constellation or DX API, Pega CRM, or an industry framework.
- Knowledge of Pega performance and monitoring tools, production support, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices.
- Progress toward PCSSA or, longer term, Pega Lead System Architect (PCLSA) certification.
- Interest in AI-enabled automation, customer onboarding, due diligence, or regulated industries such as financial services, insurance, or the public sector.
