For the Performance & Care GBU, the Supply Chain Specialist:

  • Drives and recommends best practices in terms of Supply Chain processes and optimizes SAP uses (proposes and monitors evolutions), recommends and deploys best operational practices, across the OTC stream (Customer Service, Logistics Execution &, Sales & Distribution modules).
  • Supports OtC, Logistics and P2P, SC users, and data management for interfaces (BW, DynaSys, CRM) with occasional operational trouble shooting, facilities Key User networks, to understand operational challenges, identify training needs, and launch improvement plans

We count on you to:

OTC domains:

  • Accountable to manage autonomously and facilitate projects related to OTC scope.
  • Ensure best practices sharing (cross-fertilization), process improvements, collaborate with end users on procedures. Taking the best practices in certain regions and trying to replicate them in other regions.
  • Provide specific training to new and existing end users.
  • Streamline operations for higher efficiency.
  • Implement new process & tools, including digital solutions, be the point of contact for Digital Technology teams (test new flows, participate in global projects, etc.). Being involved in ERP rebuild and master data cleaning for the ERP separation.
  • Provide to support functions better understanding of the GBU specificities and requirements, identifies the needs of evolutions in SAP generated by difficulties to work with SAP, modifications in the enterprise organization, coordinates the implementation of the evolutions (master data update, procedure modifications, request for technical evolution…).
  • Supports OTC processes which involve 3PL usage (e.g. external warehouses) and ensures smooth operational use of SAP and associated tools, supports users both internal and in 3PLs with process enhancements and troubleshooting. (e.g. implement or troubleshoot EDI connection between SAP and warehouse system)
  • Has an awareness of GLM and labeling solutions and supports technical functionality issues.
  • Assist operational teams (mainly Logistics and Customer Service teams WW) on specific issues, support in raising Helpdesk tickets where necessary, interact with support functions for smoother resolution.

You will bring:

  • Degree in Process Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain and in Order to Cash process
  • Experience working in a cross-functional role and in project management, data analysis and systems improvements
  • Systems knowledge: good knowledge of SAP OTC (SD, LE, IM, MM) and BW
  • Demonstrable project management skills, together with the ability to operate in a complex, multinational environment. Must be able to adapt and work autonomously in a global context.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and across functions globally, and to influence in order to reach consensus on best practices and harmonization, you are able to communicate complex technical matters in a succinct and clear way to both technical and non-technical people in both written and verbal forms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A logical, rigorous, and scientific approach to problem solving is essential.
  • Ability to appreciate / interpret regulatory requirements, for example packaging legislation (in complex cases with support from experts)
  • Primary language English but other languages of interest

You will get:

  • The Portuguese annual base salary reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €32,000.00 to €40,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
