OUR ROLE
The Senior Manager, Global Demand Planning leads the transformation, governance, and continuous improvement of our global demand planning processes and drives forecast excellence across all business units. This role is the global owner of the demand planning process, statistical forecasting framework, and forecasting performance management, focusing on forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and Forecast Value Add (FVA) through robust statistical methodologies, advanced analytics, and machine learning capabilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT VITA BRANDS
In this critical role, you'll spearhead the establishment of standardized demand planning practices and play a key role in the ongoing planning transformation journey, working closely with Commercial teams, Finance, Supply Chain, Data & Analytics, and S&OE.
- Lead the transformation of the global demand planning process and drive adoption of data-driven forecasting principles.
- Own the global statistical forecasting framework and drive development of machine learning and AI-enabled forecasting capabilities.
- Own the generation, quality, and performance of the global statistical baseline forecast.
- Establish governance for model performance monitoring, exception management, and forecast enrichment evaluation through FVA.
- Lead the demand planning component of the S&OP/IBP process, facilitating demand reviews and presenting insights to senior leadership.
- Partner with S&OE teams to challenge forecast enrichments that do not create measurable improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on forecast accuracy, bias reduction, and planning efficiency.
- Establish demand planning governance, standards, and operating principles globally, coaching stakeholders on best practices.
WHO YOU ARE
You are an analytical thinker with a passion for forecasting science and continuous improvement, thriving in a changing environment and acting as a catalyst for transformation.
- Planning Expertise: 7–10 years in global demand planning, forecasting, S&OP/IBP facilitation, with a proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and driving process transformation.
- Systems Proficiency: Proficiency in SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Oracle, and analytics platforms such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Analytical Acumen: Deep expertise in statistical forecasting methodologies, machine learning applications, algorithms, diagnostics, and model governance.
- Decision-Making Skills: Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into actionable business decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong facilitation skills and excellent stakeholder management capabilities across cross-functional environments.
- Adaptability and Initiative: Curious and motivated by data and forecasting science, with a strong process orientation focused on scalability and automation.
- Education: Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Language skills: English.

In 2024, Fiskars Group’s global net sales were EUR 1.2 billion and we had close to 7,000 employees. We have two Business Areas (BA), Vita and Fiskars.
BA Vita offers premium and luxury products for the tableware, drinkware, jewelry and interior categories. Its well-known brands include Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Wedgwood, Moomin Arabia, Iittala and Waterford. In 2024, BA Vita’s reported net sales were EUR 605 million. Already 50% of BA Vita’s net sales comes from direct-to-consumer sales, comprising approximately 500 stores and approximately 60 e-commerce sites.
