About the role
You will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge solutions for metrology equipment, semiconductor applications, and precision motion systems. You will thrive in a multidisciplinary setting, partnering with experts from various engineering disciplines and working directly with world-leading technology companies to translate complex requirements into innovative, high-impact solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, develop new and improve existing (sub)systems, processes, and technologies
- Convert requirements into (sub)system, process or test design, while incorporating essential design aspects (i.e. cost efficiency, manufacturability, quality, etc.)
- Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance (sub)system and process development
- Design and develop prototypes, and test and modify them to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with regulations and standards
- Report progress to project team, evaluate work with colleagues, mitigate design risks and quality issues
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement What we offer

- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of design for performance and control of dynamical motion systems
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to work on both design and validation activities
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and organized approach to work
- Thrives in a multidisciplinary and cross-functional environment
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time globally
