You'll play a key role in monitoring costs, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and ensuring strong financial control across our distribution network.

Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:

As a Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and controlling distribution and warehousing costs while supporting the business in achieving its service and efficiency objectives. Working closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and external logistics partners, you will provide insightful analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and managing distribution cost budgets and forecasts in partnership with operational teams.
• Delivering monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis, risk and opportunity assessments, and reconciliation against budgets and forecasts.
• Supporting the optimisation of warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations through financial analysis and performance monitoring.
• Analysing key cost drivers and operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support business decision-making.
• Coordinating financial and performance reviews with external logistics providers and key business partners.
• Monitoring supplier invoices and ensuring accurate processing and payment in line with contractual agreements.
• Supporting monthly financial close activities and maintaining data accuracy across financial systems.
• Developing reporting tools and dashboards that provide visibility into distribution performance and costs.
• Staying informed on industry trends and best practices within logistics, supply chain, and cost management.

Your recipe for success:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience in Cost Analysis, Financial Controlling, Supply Chain Finance, Logistics, Distribution, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with experience interpreting data and translating insights into business recommendations.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and financial systems.
• Experience using SAP, Power BI, or other reporting and analytical tools would be an advantage.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across functions and effectively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills.
