IT/OT/Electrical Engineer

At WeQuel, we are now looking for an Electrical Engineer in Ludvika, where you'll become an important part of our client's engineering team, focusing on IT/OT infrastructure and cyber security within electrical and electronic systems. In this role, you plan, design, develop, test, and install electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation, while coordinating related activities internally and with other groups.

Your responsibilities:

• Planning, design, development, testing, and installation of electrical/electronic components and systems, including automation
• Coordination of related activities internally and with other groups to accomplish objectives
• Preparation of reports and analyses using computers and selected programs
• Performing engineering duties under general guidance, applying standard engineering principles and practices
• Driving initiatives to improve group effectiveness, increase customer satisfaction, and fulfill legal or other agency requirements
• Hands-on work with IT/OT infrastructure
• Hands-on work with Hyper-V and Proxmox
• Configuration and maintenance of AD and access control
• Application of cyber security and hardening concepts, syslog, and remote access concepts

You work in a dynamic environment where you independently drive your own workflow forward while collaborating with several interfaces within the organization.

Requirements:

• 2–6 years of work experience within the relevant field together with a bachelor's or master's degree, alternatively another technical degree combined with 10–15 years of relevant work experience
• Working command of the English language, spoken and written
• Hands-on experience with IT/OT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Hyper-V and Proxmox
• Experience with AD and access control configuration and maintenance
• Knowledge of cyber security, hardening concepts, syslog, and remote access concepts

• Location: Ludvika, Sweden (minimum 30% onsite required, remainder remote)
