The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be comfortable collaborating with colleagues, clients and stakeholders from different countries and backgrounds, bringing a global mindset to engineering challenges.
As a PH Senior Engineer at Arup, you will:
- Lead the design of plumbing or/and fire systems for a range of building types, from offices, hotels, hospitals, data centres, and educational facilities.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other specialists to deliver integrated and sustainable building solutions.
- Oversee the specification and selection of plumbing or fire equipment, ensuring compliance with performance and sustainability criteria.
- Act as team or project coordinator for multidisciplinary teams, serving as Arup's representative with clients.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in sustainable building design and innovative engineering solutions. We also value:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technologies).
- 8+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating expertise in plumbing, and/or fire protection system design.
- Technical expertise in building design and construction projects.
- Basic knowledge of Revit.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
- Strong written and spoken English (C1 level).
