Join us as a Strategic Global Buyer Sr. at Siemens Gamesa and take the lead in developing and executing global sourcing strategies for key commodities. You will ensure that our procurement activities align with business goals and operational requirements. Imagine identifying and managing relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and securing optimal value and service. Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to guarantee that all procured parts and services meet the highest specifications and standards. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure timely delivery across various global sites while proactively identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will develop and execute global sourcing strategies that align with business objectives and operational needs.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to ensure all procured parts and services meet required specifications.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve optimal value.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including operations, engineering, and finance, to align procurement activities with overall business goals.
• Utilize data analytics to track procurement performance, generate insights, and prepare reports for management on procurement activities and outcomes.

What You Bring

• You have a degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in global sourcing and procurement, with a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analytics tools to drive informed decision-making.
• Advanced English proficiency is required; additional languages are a plus.
