Job Description
Tolsa NL is looking for a Forklift Driver (Outdoor Area Employee) to strengthen our operations team. In this role, you will work primarily in the outdoor area and play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of materials. The position offers variety, responsibility, and opportunities to grow into other machinery roles such as shovel operator.
Key Responsibilities
Safely transporting materials and goods using a forklift
Supporting daily logistics and production activities in the outdoor area
Operating additional equipment when required, including:
Bobcat (semi-open cabin)
Sweeping vehicle
Shovel
Performing general support tasks, such as:
Cleaning transport and boat routes
Cutting open big bags
Keeping the work area clean and orderly
Working Environment
Work takes place outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions
During wet periods, surfaces may be slippery due to raw materials
In warm or dry conditions, raw materials may become airborne
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as filter masks or chemically resistant disposable overalls may be required in specific situations
Job Requirements
Valid forklift certificate (required)
Willingness to perform multiple tasks and operate different machines
Safety-conscious and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
Flexibility and a hands-on mentality
Experience with bobcat, shovel, or sweeping vehicle is a plus (training possible)
Supervision & Team
You will work under the direction of a Shift Leader
Tasks are executed independently in a safe and efficient manner
Cleaning activities are largely self-directed
