Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced and confident Medical Advisor with a solid background in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry. You are comfortable taking ownership, setting priorities and building trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders, while collaborating closely with colleagues across functions. To thrive at Chiesi, you are pragmatic, flexible and enjoy working in a growing organization where you can contribute to developing ways of working and medical strategy.
This is what you will do
As Medical Advisor, you will be part of Chiesi's Medical Affairs organization and play an important role in the Danish business. The position combines external scientific engagement with strategic and cross-functional work internally.
A significant part of the role is field-based. You will develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders, academic centres and other relevant external stakeholders, using these interactions to identify insights and bring them back into the organization.
You will work closely with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and Safety and contribute your medical perspective to both Danish and Nordic initiatives. You will also contribute to shaping the Medical Affairs strategy and ways of working in Denmark.
The role offers considerable independence. You will manage your own calendar and meetings and are expected to take ownership of your priorities and objectives. Travel within Denmark, as well as attendance at relevant meetings and congresses, is a natural part of the position.
You will be responsible for
- Building and maintaining strong, credible relationships with healthcare professionals, Key Opinion Leaders and other relevant external stakeholders.
- Providing high-quality medical and scientific support within Chiesi's products and therapeutic areas.
- Gathering insights from the field and bringing them back into the organization to support medical strategy and cross-functional decision-making.
- Planning and conducting scientific meetings, presentations, advisory boards and other medical activities.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Safety and other relevant functions.
- Contributing to Medical Affairs projects and strategy while ensuring activities are conducted in line with relevant regulations, compliance requirements and Chiesi procedures.
You will need to have
- Medical degree, pharmacy degree, or higher science degree.
- Relevant experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and other external stakeholders.
- Strong scientific background and good understanding of medical compliance and how Medical Affairs operates within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- A self-driven, pragmatic and flexible mindset, with the ability to take ownership while working effectively across functions.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience within respiratory diseases such as asthma or COPD is an advantage, but not a requirement.
