Functieomschrijving:

As a Senior Warehouse Worker you will lead a team of warehouse operators while ensuring smooth cross-docking, loading, and quality control activities. You will work closely with Transport Planning and Customer Service, drive operational excellence, and support continuous improvement across the warehouse operation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for guiding and leading a team of 4-5 warehouse workers who perform cross docking operations during our Night shift.
• Maintain contact with our Transport Planning department and make sure all trucks and vans are loaded appropriately.
• Order picking and general Warehouse related tasks.
• Inspects incoming materials, packaging and labeling components, work-in-process and final products using basic inspection gauging.
• Ensures proper completion of required documentation in accordance with departmental, GMP, and ISO requirements.
• Performs activities in Quality Control department such as incoming, CQA and final product inspections.
• Documents quality issues and performance measures for management review.
• Documents corrective actions and tracks subsequent follow-up activities.
• Identifies and champions resolution of quality issues.
• Prepares and conducts trainings for Warehouse Workers.
• Take charge in creating interdepartmental solutions between our Customer Service, Warehouse and Transport Planning department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent;
• A valid drivers license (B);
• Warehouse experience;
• Good communication skills;
• Skilled in taking the lead;
• Available to work in the night shift.
