About this Position

What you´ll do

  • Define the global marketplace strategy across pure-players marketplaces and owned platforms, translating eCommerce priorities into clear regional focus and growth levers
  • Establish go-live criteria, success metrics, best practices and scalable playbooks for new platforms and portfolio launches
  • Incubate new eCommerce initiatives by coordinating setup, enabling regional teams and preparing structured handover process
  • Govern global eCommerce standards across content quality, execution excellence and marketing investment performance
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities across platforms, markets and customer segments
  • Act as global counterpart for strategic eCommerce partners, ensuring commercial alignment, consistent platform engagement and cross-functional execution
  • Strengthen digital shelf excellence, brand protection, search visibility and AI/GEO-ready product content across the marketplace and owned-platform customer journeys

What makes you a good fit

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Digital Business or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce management, strategy or development
  • Proven track record in driving marketplace growth across multiple markets, platforms, customer journeys or business units
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce business models, including 1P/3P dynamics, pure-players, and owned platforms and solid knowledge of eCommerce KPIs across traffic, conversion, content performance, digital shelf and retail media
  • Understanding of emerging AI technologies, including GenAI, LLMs, GEO, and their application across eCommerce content, search visibility and customer journeys
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate performance data into global priorities and scalable frameworks and entrepreneurial and proactive working style with strong ownership mentality
  • Excellent English skills; additional European languages are a plus

This position is available in Duesseldorf or Barcelona.
