Your tasks
- Design and drive the evolution of the international Business Intelligence strategy, with a strong focus on scalable BI architecture across all ALDI Nord countries, leveraging leading Microsoft Cloud and Databricks technologies
- Define and implement end-to-end BI and analytics solutions, from data ingestion and engineering (e.g., Databricks) to semantic models and interactive dashboards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish robust data governance frameworks for international data usage and compliance
- Act as a technical lead and architecture expert, guiding and consulting team members and serving as the key point of contact for complex, cross-domain BI architecture topics
- Contribute to the continuous expansion and enhancement of the international analytics platform
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Engineering ideally in a consulting or large-scale enterprise environment
- Strong full-stack BI expertise, including:
- Backend/data engineering experience (e.g., Databricks, Spark)
- Data modeling and semantic layer design
- Frontend/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Proven ability to design and deliver stakeholder-oriented dashboards and reporting solutions, and to translate complex datasets into actionable insights
- Advanced programming skills in Python, SQL (R is a plus), with experience handling large-scale data environments
- Experience in technical leadership or mentoring of team members is a strong advantage
