Yacht Agent – Amsterdam

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a personable and service-driven Yacht Agent / Crew Liaison to join an established yacht agency based in Amsterdam.

This position would suit someone with previous onboard yachting experience who is interested in developing their career within a shore-based environment, while continuing to work closely with yachts, Captains and crew.

The company supports a large number of yachts across multiple offices, including a number of new-build projects in the Netherlands. This is a hands-on, people-focused position where you will regularly visit yachts and become a trusted shoreside point of contact for crew.

The Role

Working as part of the Amsterdam team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with Captains and crew and assisting with their day-to-day shoreside requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

• Regularly visiting yachts in Amsterdam and across the Netherlands
• Acting as a key point of contact for Captains and crew
• Welcoming crew and providing guidance on local procedures and requirements
• Coordinating medical appointments and other crew services
• Liaising with local suppliers and service providers
• Processing invoices and assisting with billing
• Supporting yachts during new-build periods
• Following up on day-to-day yacht and crew requests
• Developing strong relationships with Captains, crew and industry contacts
• Working closely with colleagues across the company’s wider network of offices

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone confident, personable and naturally service-minded, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Previous experience within yachting, yacht agency, luxury hospitality or another high-end service environment would be highly advantageous. Previous onboard yacht experience would be particularly beneficial due to the level of interaction with Captains and crew.

You should be proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple requests while maintaining a highly responsive and personal level of service.

This is not a purely desk-based position, so you must enjoy meeting people, visiting yachts and becoming a familiar and trusted point of contact for crew.

Package & Benefits

• Salary of €4,000–€5,000 gross per month, DOE
• Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
• 25 days’ annual leave, excluding public holidays
• Discretionary company/personal performance bonus
• Additional day off during the week when weekend work is required
• Travel allowance available subject to distance from the office
• Some flexibility for hybrid working
