junior stewardess 53m SY

We are looking for two enthusiastic Junior Stewardesses to join a 53m SY with a dual season Mediterranean and Caribbean program.

The yacht is used predominantly by the owner and his extended family, with occasional charter. The owner’s family are described as warm and enjoyable to work with, and the yacht has an unusually stable team, with several senior crew members having remained aboard for many years. Following an extensive scheduled refit, the yacht will spend the winter season in the Caribbean.

The interior operates with a long standing Chief Stew and 2 Stewardesses, so both new crew members will rotate through housekeeping, laundry and service. The Chief Stewardess is happy to train promising junior candidates, making this a good opportunity for someone at the beginning of their yachting career who has the right attitude and energy.

Requirements:

• ideally 1 season minimum but entry-level candidates considered
• Hospitality experience necessary particularly bar, restaurant, café or barista work
• Previous sailing-yacht experience advantageous but not essential
• Enthusiastic, cheerful and eager to learn
• Happy to rotate through service, housekeeping and laundry
• Strong work ethic and a naturally positive manner
• Comfortable joining a close-knit and established crew
